One thing I know for sure is that unless your 'basic' Windows desktop came with a dedicated graphics card, dualcore processor and 2gigs of RAM it most likely won't be able to play this game. If you don't meet the minimum requirements, you won't be able to play. You need at minimum a dualcore processor for Mac/PC, 4 gig of RAM for Mac, 2 gigs for PC, and the graphics cards listed. When you visit the Star Trek Arc Games site, go down to the bottom of the page and click on System Requirements. That kind of suggests to me that there's something else (not the game) that could be the issue. I'm a little concerned that you say that the game also isn't working across three systems, both Mac and PC. I don't know if it'll work for you, though.
